Our Story
Discover Our Wine Philosophy
CILIĆ Estate is a family-owned property located atop one of the rolling hills of Šumadija, near the town of Jagodina, between the villages of Međureč and Lozovik. The winery and distillery sit at the heart of the estate, surrounded by vineyards stretching from east to west. The vineyards are encircled by plum orchards, where both international grape varieties and traditional Serbian plum cultivars thrive.
In the mid-1980s, when we first arrived on this hillside beneath Crni Vrh, we were captivated by the winds and the view. The sweeping landscape of Šumadija revealed its endless potential, while the winds carried a powerful energy—one that should never be overlooked or allowed to slip away.

Visits to the Estate
The winery opened its doors to individual and group visits in October 2012. In addition to standard tastings of our current vintages, we also organize educational tastings, vertical tastings, team-building events with wine workshops, promotions, seminars, as well as smaller celebrations such as baptisms, weddings, and birthdays.
Wine with Character
The wines of the Cilić estate mature in both barrels and stainless steel tanks—they are complex, fruity, mineral, and true to the soil from which they come.
Family Philosophy
A blend of the father’s and the son’s knowledge—two enology traditions—has shaped wines that are layered, authentic, and enduring. Our work is our life, and wine is its expression.
